Wells Fargo
June 2021 – Present
I am currently venturing on my first contract opportunity as a Business Execution Consultant for Wells Fargo. The company is
divesting a portion of their business and I am part of a team enlisted to assist with reviewing data and tools to ensure
all data transferred to the new entity has been approved and fits within the pre-approved parameters.
I am learning a lot about the regulations and processes that are connected to the financial industry, especially the retirement
and trust arenas. This work from home opportunity also allows me to work on soft skills, such as time management and
communication in a slightly different working environment which I find exciting.
Huntington Ingalls Industries
January 2016 – June 2021
As a Business Process Analyst II/III for the Data and Metrics team at Ingalls Shipbuilding, my duties included evaluating
business and reporting requirements in the effort to develop key performance indicators, automate current
reporting processes and build software applications that increase user productivity, create cost savings and adhere to the
company’s security and data integrity measures.
Some of the tools that I gained expertise in and used daily to perform my duties at a high level are, SQL Server 2008(T-SQL),
Visual Studio, MS Excel (pivot tables, calculated fields, charts, tables), MS Access and VBA.
University of South Alabama
August 2007 – December 2015
As a Management Systems Specialist I/II for the Registrar's and Veterans Affairs
offices at the University of South Alabama, my primary duty was to work
closely with our IT and Registrar’s Office staffs to make sure core business processes were
current and being used in the most efficient way possible. Ellucian's Banner was the SIS that the university used as its ERP
so, a lot of my time went to troubleshooting and explaining why errors or perceived errors were happening. I also kept up to date with
new and relevant updates released from Ellucian and the Ellucian Community to investigate ways for us to get more out of the system.
Through this curiosity, I have gained a great deal of knowledge of the Banner system and was called upon frequently when issues
or questions arise.
Through implementations and upgrades, I had the opportunity to work on many projects including the implementation of
Degree Works, Banner 8, Ad Astra, implementation of new National Student Clearinghouse enrollment submission criteria,
SSB online graduation application, and a Google workflow project using Google Forms, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.
Spring Hill College
August 2005 – August 2007
I began my career in Higher Education as the Application Specialist/Helpdesk
Technician at Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL. In this position, I was responsible for managing
SHC's helpdesk which was the first line of contact for students, faculty and staff who were experiencing
any sort of technical issues concerning computer hardware, computer software, networking, or telephone issues.
My duties included supervising student workers, inputting and following up of trouble tickets, troubleshooting
hardware/software issues, and inventorying/ordering supplies when needed.
I gained a lot of experience from this position in varying areas. I was able to perform a lot of hands on
computer, telephone, and networking repair by going out on trouble calls with more experienced technicians. I also
gained valuable supervisory experience managing the student workers. I was responsible for scheduling their work hours,
making sure tasked were completed, and evaluating their performance.
